Thank you for choosing Clean Comforts. These terms are here to ensure our service runs smoothly, respectfully, and professionally.

1. About Our Service

  • Fully insured (public liability) and DBS checked
  • Trained in COSHH and BCCA standards
  • Domestic cleaning, decluttering, and small commercial cleaning within a 7-mile radius of Loughborough
  • Professional-grade products and equipment used with strict hygiene and colour-coding to prevent cross-contamination

2. Booking & Pricing

  • Consultation: Free by phone or in person to discuss your needs
  • Regular cleaning: Hourly rate, 2-hour minimum
  • One-off & deep cleans: Individually quoted
  • Organisation & decluttering: Hourly or fixed rate depending on project
  • Add-ons: Available by agreement
  • Travel: £0.45/mile for errands and for clients outside 7 miles
  • Price changes: Minimum 2 weeks' notice

3. Payment

Payment is due on the day of service. Bank transfer preferred; cash/cheque accepted if required.

4. Illness & Health

Please let me know if you are feeling unwell and need to reschedule. Specifically, sickness bugs must be reported before I attend. This protects me, my business, and all my clients.

5. Cancellations

We understand that life happens and sometimes you need to cancel or reschedule. We've designed our policy to be as flexible as possible while keeping our service reliable for all our clients.

Rescheduling: Free of charge

Cancellation charges:

  • Over 48 hours' notice: No charge
  • 24–48 hours' notice: 50% charge
  • Less than 24 hours' notice: Full fee
  • Missed access (not home/incorrect key): Full fee

Life happens clause: We understand genuine emergencies occur (illness, family situations, etc.). We'll work with you on a case-by-case basis – just give us a call and we'll figure it out together.

Ending service: Please give 2 weeks' notice for regular cleans.

6. If We Cancel

We take our commitments seriously but if I ever need to cancel due to illness, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances then I'll contact you as soon as possible and reschedule at a mutually convenient time.

7. What We Do

  • Regular and deep cleaning
  • Decluttering & home organisation
  • Small commercial, end-of-tenancy, and holiday let cleans

8. Insurance & Safety

  • Fully insured for accidental damage (please report any issues within 24 hours)
  • We kindly ask you to secure valuables and inform us of any fragile or high-value items
  • We cannot accept liability for pre-existing damage or issues arising from client-supplied equipment or products

9. Commercial & Holiday Lets

  • Office cleaning, retail space maintenance, and holiday let changeovers available
  • Evening/weekend bookings may carry a surcharge
  • Linen/key handling agreed during consultation
  • Separate terms may apply

10. Photographs

Photos may be taken for insurance and record-keeping purposes. These are stored securely and deleted within 30 days. They are never shared publicly without written consent.

Separate consent will always be sought for marketing, social media, or training use.

11. Data Protection

Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. Information is stored securely and never shared without consent (unless legally required).
